DJ software for macOS. Four decks, timecode vinyl, stems – built by a DJ, adjusted by DJs.
What it is
aDJusted is a DJ application written from scratch for macOS and Apple Silicon. It reads the library you already have and works with the gear you already own.
It comes from the same place as the records on this site: built by cYpher, a DJ since the nineties, for real sets – and now open to DJs who want to help shape it. The audio engine runs apart from the interface, so a busy screen does not get in the way of the music.

aDJusted grew out of BassAssassins: cYpher, one of the crew's founders, builds it for the way we play – records, timecode vinyl, four decks. The app now has a website of its own, in English and German, with everything about the beta, the system requirements and its privacy policy. The records stay here.
Features
Timecode vinyl
Play any deck from a turntable with Serato Control Vinyl in relative mode. When the needle runs into the end of the record, the deck switches to internal and keeps the speed – the mix holds.
Any MIDI controller
No hardcoded mapping: teach every control once with MIDI learn or the mapping wizard. Run several controllers at the same time, each with its own mapping.
Stems on your Mac
Split a track into drums, bass, vocals and everything else – on your Mac's own graphics chip, with no internet connection and no upload.
The library you already have
Reads your Music app library and your Serato crates, and lets you build crates of your own. Use any combination of the three.
Beatgrids you can fix
An editor to set any beatgrid right by hand, in steps down to a single millisecond.
Effects and sampler
Three effect slots per deck in series, nine effect types from echo to bit crush. Plus 32 sample pads per deck in four banks.
Auto-Mix
Need a break? Auto-Mix picks the next track by tempo and blends decks 1 and 2 on its own.

Questions
What does it cost?
aDJusted is in beta and not for sale yet. Beta testers use it free of charge.
Can I play tracks from Apple Music or other streaming services?
Not from a subscription: Apple Music tracks are copy-protected, and no DJ app can reach their audio. Tracks you bought and files of your own work fine. Support for streaming services is an idea for later – not a promise.
Which timecode vinyl does it use?
Serato Control Vinyl, in relative mode: speed and direction come from the record, and where the needle lands does not matter.
Will my controller work?
If it speaks MIDI, yes – you teach it once with MIDI learn or the mapping wizard. If you build a mapping for a controller we do not have yet, we would love to have it.
Why no Intel Macs?
Stem separation runs on the graphics chip of Apple Silicon. aDJusted therefore needs an M1 or newer.
