The TUMA-BassAssassins Sub Label
Katzenstattmenschen – “cats instead of people” – is a joint label of TUMA Kassetten and BassAssassins Records, founded to release relaxed music that could just as well have been made by cats, for cats (with a wink).
TUMA is a home for many kinds of electronic music and puts out real tapes in small editions; BassAssassins stands for techy, deep drum & bass. Together the two labels created a digital outlet for chilled sounds – made for a balmy summer evening on the porch with a cool drink.
